ON THE INTEGRATED CONCEPTION OF MORAL EDUCATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION AND ITS PRACTICE

Abstract

 

Moral education in higher education institution, which has witnessed great development, should continuously open up new phases .The basic point of innovation should promptly upgrade from the innovations of methodology and technology to those of conception and theory, transit from experience-based innovations of methodology and technology to those guided by the new conception and theory, among them, the innovation of conception is directive and fundamental. Nowadays, we should establish integrated conception in the moral education of higher education institution. Under the domination of the integrated conception, moral education should focus on the comprehensive upgrading of the students’ ideological and moral quality , the jointly exertion of  leading role of higher education institution and the influence of society, the full-scale exploitation of  the educational resources of higher education institution from the view of aim ,the way of performance and the mode of  practice respectively. It is only in consistence with the integrated conception can we reach the development of moral education in higher institution.

 

Biography

Shen Zhuanghai, male, born in 6th of November, 1971, Doctor degree, the professor of College of Education Science of WUHAN university, secretary-general of higher education association of  WUHAN university. The main research direction: college moral education and comparative moral education. The recently published academic monographs: THE MORAL CULTURE OF CHINA, ON 3-MORALITY EDUCATION ,etc. and  some  research papers, such as CHINESE TRADITIONAL METHODOLOGY OF MORAL EDUCATION AND ITS MODERN SIGNIFICANCE, THE SCHOOLE MORAL EDUCATION IN GENERAL EDUCATION. etc. Nowadays, also in charge of several programs, such as RESEARCH PROGRAM ON DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEORY OF CHINESE MORAL EDUCATION EFFECTED BY WESTERN THOUGHTS OF EDUCATION SINCE 20th CENTURY, one of THE NATIONAL TENTH FIVE-YEAR PLAN EDUCATIONAL SCIENCE PROGRAM.
