With the rapid development of our society, great importance has been attached to family education. Based on the reference from best practice aboard and domestic traditions, new pattern of family education with Chinese characteristics has been formed. This thesis formulates and analyzes family education in China from two aspects, Chinese tradition and modern science knowledge and concluded by the future tendency of family education research aiming at giving a basic understanding of family education to those who care about the development of family education in China.
